"Gamification" in the development of Geometry

As I previously established on my Introductory entry, I pretend to make the readers of this blog think on the importance of Geometry in Primary Education but, appart from them, make you concious of the variety of ways in which we can teach Geometry to our students. When we are general teachers, but specifically as Geometry teachers, we should try to arouse our students interest, make them learn in a funny way and guarantee that the classes are enjoyable and assure the learning process.  Considering all the statements before...  Why don't you follow the advices I am going to give you? The actual curriculum of Primary Education is based on the acquisition of competences, not being the contents the only thing considered. Attending to this specification and trying to make the learning process enjoyable for the student we have a really new method discovered which is the... "GAMIFICATION" . Welcome to a geometrical area!

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog! !! I will start introducing myself. My name is Francisco Gil García, I am 20 years old and I am student of 3ºB in the Primary Bilingual teaching degree in the University of Málaga, Faculty of Education and Psycology (UMA). This blog is for the subject Didactics of Geometry. As the name of the subject states, the contents of the blog will be related to the Geometry, a really important part of Mathematics. However, I won't talk about theoretical aspects all the time.
